Acumen Builders is a premium home remodeling company serving Greenville and the surrounding Upstate communities.

Founded by Joshua Bennett and Jonathan Stanley in 2019, Acumen was built from a clear vision and a powerful commitment:

OUR FOUNDERS

Joshua, a second-generation contractor, already had a lifetime of building experience, but wanted a company whose reputation matched the quality of his finishes.

Since that time, Acumen Builders has become one of Greenville’s highest rated remodelers, recognized for craftsmanship, professionalism, and ethical business practices.

Giving back to Greenville

“We have a deeper plan, to connect to needs in Greenville and to help build it into a stronger community."

To date, Acumen has donated over $60,000 to the nonprofit sector of South Carolina’s Upstate. We do it by setting aside a portion of earnings from every project we complete, and we work together with our clients to choose where to direct those funds.

The organizations, mission, and ministries we support are working to strengthen families, protect women and children, protect the environment, feed the hungry, and generate lasting change in our community.

We call it Building Intentionally, and it is at the core of why we do business.

We believe that both individuals and small businesses have the power to create meaningful change. Through pouring ourselves into our craft with purpose and intentionality, we don’t just build beautiful spaces—we build a stronger community for us all.
